Dinafem Video: Santa Sativa

  • Dinafem Santa Sativa, despite being one of the first strains featured in the catalogue, has never gone out of fashion, as its spectacular genetics continue to dazzle all kinds of growers. In this high-quality video we can admire the hearty plant it yields and marvel at its elongated, resin-rich buds.

Santa Sativa by Dinafem is a feminized variety that is mostly Sativa (70%, vs. 30% Indica). Its particular genetics are the result of crossing a Haze #1 and a Skunk with a Northern Lights. The result speaks for itself: a magnificent hybrid whose robust and productive plant is the definite favourite of Haze lovers.

This high-level strain easily meets the expectations of those growers who opt for it. Although it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor growing, in the latter case it thrives in temperate, Mediterranean and sunny climates. It is harvested somewhat later than usual, during the final weeks of October or in early November. Its yields are impressive: some 1,300 grams per plant, which can grow up to 4.5 meters high.

Meanwhile, for those who choose indoor growing, Santa Sativa offers a yield of about 500 g / m2. Flowering in 70 to 80 days, those who choose it only need to provide their crop enough light, and a diet rich in fertilisers. It is also prudent to control its growth, as it tends to really tower, and requires a lot of room to grow.

The plant that it develops is tall, and features a very vigorous and open structure. The distance between its nodes is great, and its leaves are particularly thin and elongated. Santa Sativa also stands out for its many branches capable of supporting the weight of its large, elongated, and compact buds, completely covered by an aromatic resin that is truly impressive. Its production of trichomes is also worthy of note, as their flavour during consumption is uniquely satisfying.

With regards to the consumption of Santa Sativa, the first thing that must be mentioned is its distinct taste and aroma: a genuine cocktail, with notes of citrus, cedar, pine and incense. And, thanks to its high THC levels (between 16% and 20%), the strain's effect is powerful, euphoric, cerebral and long-lasting. Whoever dares to try it is in for an ideal psychedelic effect, to enjoy a good time with friends.

Until you decide to grow it, or as you wait for harvest time, you can admire Santa Sativa's unique beauty in images. But its countless fans cannot be wrong: it is worth growing and enjoying its unique properties with all your senses.
